The Benefits of Color Changing LED Lighting
The color-correlated temperature is a measurement of color for lighting systems. CCT is defined as the measurement of color and the appearance of white light source is based on the temperature value which is measured in K or kelvin. LED lighting commonly has a color temperature range between 2700 K to 5700 K. Every color variation within this temperature is a variation of white. The most noticeable types of LED lighting are warm white which is less than 3000k. Cool white which is valued at greater than 5000k. An LED with a color temperature between 3000 and 5000k is considered a natural white. Here are the benefits of color changing LED lighting.
The color value for each type of LED will often dictate the environment that it’s placed. Warmer color temperature is typical for a residential environment, these are the types of lighting options that are commonly installed in churches, restaurants, homes, and sometimes office buildings. Natural light is a more popular choice for commercial buildings. Cool white is an option that is more common for exterior lighting as well as warehouses.
